In the depth is in the venom

Having great conversations from connection, in any role, is energizing. Whether from your role as manager or neighbor, it doesn’t matter. I often have these kinds of conversations as a coach, but also as a human being. With depth, clarification, insights and empowering energy. I had another such conversation last Friday and feel deep gratitude when my client walks out the door with a smile on their face and “revitalized. And no the problem may not be completely solved but the sting is out, the insight is there and the action items are clear. Implementation lies with the client. With the boost in energy, I have no doubt that this gentleman is going to achieve his goal.

In the depth is in the venom: I sometimes compare it to weeds like nettles, for example. A problem now originates at a much deeper level. That is also why superficial solutions or just a change of mindset, does not give a sustainable result. And by that I don’t mean that mindset is not important! But it simply cannot be sustained with just a different behavior or mindset if at a much deeper level there are still old issues at play, read emotions, that are holding your behavior and mindset hostage. Because that’s what they do unconsciously, those old emotions. They keep you where you’ve been for a long time, maintain your behavior and your thoughts. Becoming aware of that is step one, I always say. Actually going to work on the old emotion is step 2.

A new mindset

And then come the new mindset and behaviors that you may implement and can also become sustainable because the “old program” is no longer running in the background. So that nettle … And don’t get me wrong; I get that you can make tea and soup from it, too. The root is deep and if you pluck away the nettle or pull out a piece of the root with it, the plant will just grow back over time. Indeed, it branches out and several nettle stalks return. Removing the entire root is the only solution if you no longer want the nettle in your garden.

Do you ever wonder or perhaps run up against things that don’t feel right for you? Who keep you in place or like my client who, as a business owner, kept running into the same stretch with his employees but didn’t understand why? Are you held hostage by your old patterns and emotions? Do you also want to be free of old obstacles, but you really have no idea how to do it or what it is? You would so like to be in the flow , to be free and feel that everything goes almost naturally, opportunities present themselves and life smiles at you. I offer you the chance to get moving for once through the free transition coach conversation. I have some room in my calendar again for 5 calls this month. Send me a pb or email if you feel this is what you need!
